When I say SUGAR, this does not mean only table sugar, but its lot of hidden sugars in packaged food, cereals, ice creams, desserts, biscuits, bakery products, sauces & dressings etc.
These food items create a sudden surge, or you can say a high tide in your blood stream. This puts your body under stress & you feel weak, nervous, anxious & depressed.
This roller coaster ride of sugar in your body makes you more foggy, jittery, irritable & shaky.
After some time when sugar levels & insulin comes to normal, you start feeling calmer & think WAS IT REALLY NECESSARY TO REACT / EAT THE WAY I DID?
- In stressful situation drink chilled water first.
- Whenever you crave for sweet, eat dates (khajoor) & keep it in mouth like a candy for 20 min. It will take care of your sweet cravings without any guilt.
- Cut an apple & sprinkle some chat masala on it. it helps to curb “Chatpata” cravings.
- Consume natural sugar -Dates, fruits, sugarcane juice, nariyal Pani etc.
This will not only help to feel calm & better but will also help to reduce weight & tummy fats too…
